Influencer Marketing: 5 ways to find Influencers

Influencer marketing is exploding right now but how do you find influencers who will promote your stuff?

I’m going to give you 5 tools you can use to do just that, and most of them free.

The first tool is called FollowerWonk.

FollowerWonk is a free tool from Moz and it lets you find influential Twitter users based on location and based on their niche.

The second tool I’ve got for you is HootSuite.

I think we all know this one, right?

You can use it for free to find out what’s happening in your niche, and you can see who’s leading the conversations.

The third one I’ve got for you is called TrendSpottr for Instagram.

Now, TrendSpottr for Instagram lets you find influencers and connect with them under any hashtag.

This is really useful if you want to take advantage of Instagram for your marketing, and that’s something that I’ve been meaning to get into, but feel a bit hesitant about using it.

Maybe one of you guys know more about Instagram marketing and can point me in the right direction, so if you do just let me know in the comments.

The fourth tool that I’ve got for you it’s called BuzzSumo.

You know it’s a favourite of mine.

Did you know that BuzzSumo also lets you find influencers?

Check this out ok, it even gives you statistics that you can use – including the reply ratio of influencers.

How useful is that?

And then the last tool, the fifth tool that I’ve got for you is called Gmass.

This is really good for managing all the contacts and emails that you send out to influencers.

Obviously you need one or two to get back to you  but this lets you contact multiple influencers and manage the communication.

So there you go, I’m gonna leave it there for today – if you’ve enjoyed this or if you found it useful then share this with other who might benefit from it too.
